Anniversary Dinner in Burlington

Hi All...The wife and I are flying up to Burlington (VT) in a few weeks to celebrate our 10-yr anniversary. Staying at the Willard Street Inn.

What would you all suggest for a fine meal, in town or near the area, for something like this?

Not necessarily looking for swank...just good eats, good atmosphere, good experience, and maybe even a bit quirky.

Thanks!

Here are four excellent restaurants in downtown Burlington that might fit the bill.

Leunigs Bistro (French)(www.leunigsbistro.com)

Trattoria Delia (Italian)(www.trattoriadelia.com)

Smokejack's (American, local products)

A Single Pebble (Gourmet Chinese)

The Willard Street Inn is an excellent choice for your stay, by the way.

Sounds like a great trip. I would check out the Flynn Theater to see if you could take in a show. This is a wonderful restored art deco theater on Main Street. Their web site is www.flynntix.org

I'll second Smokejacks. We went there a few years ago and still talk about it. It was fabulous.

Enjoy your trip! I love going to Burlington
