I will now answer my own question. America's Best Inn is dark, depressing and filthy. Their "Evergreen" room advertisement is a mystery. The water may be filtered, how could I tell, and there are two worn ???air filters??? in the small space. Housekeeping used one dingy rag to wipe everything with a pink spray. When I objected to wiping the shower seat after the toilet/floor, strong clorox was sprayed and left, nothing was rinsed, just wiped around with that rag. Everything I touched with Clorox wipes turned brown, and I do mean everything. If the outside of the AC was filthy when I Clorox wiped, Who knows what I was breathing from the inside of the AC and yes I have been very ill since. I ran to the Hampton Inn with a paid night to go but don't care, I wanted out of there! I am realistic about variable standards, but my anger was for going out of their way to say -since the new management they taugh housekeeping how to clean extra clean, NOT!!!!! I'm on antibiotics and hoping to be well soon. Everyone here in the Hampton Inn have been so wonderful and comforting and have taken kind care of me and I am deeply grateful.
