Anan Bear Sanctuary Wrangell

I am just starting to plan our itinerary for next year. We are looking at using the Alaska Marine Highway for some of our journey. I was wondering if anyone has been to the bear sanctuary from Wrangell? If we do stop to visit this we will have two nights before the next ferry comes along. I really want to know if it is worth the time before we head onto Juneau. Any info or suggestions on Wrangell will also be appreciated.
