Hi John! Yes, you can do a lot in 3 days; there are some lovely bed & breakfasts in the area and you CAN see a working farm. The best web site for you would be: www.pafarmstay.com - this is the Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association's web site with probably ALL the informaton you'll need to get everything arranged. But, if you want another site for bed & breakfasts in Pennsylvania Dutch country, try: www.padutchinns.com/
Have a great time and welcome to our beautiful state! -Kathy B.

Also, try www.800padutch.com Then try www.800padutch.com/ammaze.html for a really unique activity while in the area. I believe that last site also has information about staying on a farm. Be persistent with that site. I cannot get it to respond right now, but you should keep trying...a very good resource.

Polly, GREAT suggestion--I know of those sites as well, but couldn't get them to respond at all, no matter what I tried; I was afraid to suggest them.

John: How about combining a working farm and a bed & breakfast?? We know of folks that operate a farm/bed & breakfast combo in Strasburg, near all of the attractions...you can call them at 717-687-6321. The name is Ira Landis.

Eat at Miller's Smorgasboard. They have a great breakfast and dinner. You won't be sorry! Enjoy.

Hey John, you'll be there more than one day. Eat at Miller's as Leah suggested, but also eat at Good & Plenty...it is both! And don't go home without trying the shoofly pie with vanilla ice cream!
