i stayed at one in denver and liked it. more upscale than the average.
Have noticed that with Amerisuites, shopping around often pays off. Calling the 800 number and asking if any discounts available, checking ALL the rates on their website, and checking with travelocity or expedia can sometimes bring the rate down from $139 to $79.
The one we stayed in was roomy enough for 2 adults and 2 small children, nothing more. The microwave was tiny and rather useless, the fridge roomy enough for sodas and one tray of ice. The bathroom was small, toilet and shower behind a door but sink, mirror etc outside in the bedroom. The breakfast spread was quite good, though not as impressive as Residence Inns. The indoor pool was very small but good for the kids, and there was an exercise room.
