Albany to NYC
I have been looking for a while, my mom saw a news story talking about some new bus that would be leaving from the Rensslear Rail Station and going to NYC. Apparently the tickets were supposed to be as cheap as $6. I was wondering if anyone else has seen the news story or knows anything about it? If not does anyone know a cheap way to get from the Albany area to NYC I want to go w/ my gf and we are both college students and do not have alot of extra money to spend. Thanks for your time everyone!

Adirondack Trailways has long had schedule bus service from Albany to NYC - I believe their 1way tickets are around $30.
Most depart from the downtown Albany terminal, but some leave from SUNY campus as well.
Yankee trails has forever operated out of Rensselaer area, but I think they only run charters. They might have NYC shopping trip specials, so check them out as well.

Yeah i checked greyhound they werent to cheap, and theres the china town bus thats $45 but the bus that the news story about sounded great and im just looking all over the net for it. My mom thinks it was called the "Super bus" or "Omni bus" maybe. Shes not sure it was a while ago, ive been looking for a while now. Its supposed to leave from the rail station and go right to nyc. My friends father saw a woman at the rail station looking for the bus, and had a $6 ticket, so i know its around, just dont know where to get tickets, or info on times, etc.
