Alaska small boat cruise - thoughts on these 3 itineraries?

Jump to last reply

As part of our family's Alaska trip this summer (late July - early August), we're going to do one of the Innerseas cruises (Un-Cruise). I'd love to get some feedback on these 3 itineraries:

Option 1: Northern Passages & Glacier Bay (Juneau to Sitka); 3 nights in Glacier Bay NP, Icy Strait, Chichagof Island / Baranof Island, Peril Strait / Sergius Narrows, Sitka

Option 2: Inner Reaches and Western Coves (Juneau to Ketchikan); Tongass National Forest / El Capitan Passage, Klawock Native Village, Chatham Strait, Frederick Sound, The Brothers Islands / Stephen's Passage, Endicott Arm / Ford’s Terror, Ketchikan

Option 3: Inner Reaches and Eastern Coves (Juneau to Ketchikan); Tracy Arm Wilderness / Frederick Sound, Thomas Bay, Glacial Landscapes / Wrangell Narrows, Wrangell, Behm Canal, Misty Fjords National Monument, Ketchikan

I'm sure all 3 are amazing trips, but does one stand out more than the others? Our focus is primarily variety of wildlife (realize it's a crap shoot) and fun activities (e.g. hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, etc.).
