Alaska B&B's

I am planning on going to Alaska next June and
staying in B&B's (other accommodation recommendations accepted as well). I am interested in your recommendations. Places where I will be visiting are Fairbanks, Denali, Ankorage and Seward.

Please tell me if you are in a car, if you want in town or out. I know several people that run B&B's. I also can tell you lots of things to see in Fairbanks and Alaska. North Pole is about 10 miles from Fairbanks, going toward the border, the thing to see is Santa Clause House. In Ester, going toward Anchorage, there is a nightly show about the history in a melodrama. Going North is Gold Drege #8, the Alaska pipeline, and where Pedro found gold. In Fairbanks: Alaskaland, historic buildings and a paddle boat, the University campus and the expermintal farm, downtown in old postoffice history info about area. Having lived here for over 20 years I can tell you more if you want.

Hi - I own a travel research company that researches and books Bed&Breakfasts and small inns. This is a free service. I would highly recommend the Copper Whale in Anchorage for starters. If you would like more information, and suggestions, please feel free to contact me.

We were in Alaska this last July. We stayed at the White Moose Inn/Lodge (I'm not sure on the last part) within 15 minutes from the entrance to Denali and it was wonderful! Also, in Fairbanks, make sure and go to the museum at the University, its great!
