Been to Vegas in April last year and stayed at the Aladdin. Weather was warm. But I we still needed pants for the day and evening. Some people wore shorts. A little to chilly for shorts to me. I thought the weather was perfect. Pools at the Aladdin was open. Temps in the low 70's. Aladdin was beautiful. We loved this hotel. They have a Desert Passage Mall with shops. Jazz club was good. Casino nice. Slots tight. Room was very nice. Bathroom was HUGE. Marble bathroom. We were upgraded to a "resort room" and requested a view of the Bellagio fountains. Perfect!! If I were you, when you check in just ask for an upgrade with a view of the fountains.
Have fun!!

I stayed in a suite at the Aladdin on Memorial Day weekend as both the Venetian and Bellagio were booked. It wasn't an awful hotel, I just didn't think it was anything special. From what I understand , they are having money problems and it shows as the toiletries are pretty low quality and getting an extra towel was almost impossible. I also thought the mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on.
It is not an awful choice, with the caveat that I wouldn't spend more for a room at the Aladdin than I would for a room somewhere like the Paris, Monte Carlo, Mirage or Luxor.

Will be at the Aladdin this Sunday-Tuesday. Have stayed there before. My opinion? The room superb; checkin very good; location on strip very good; restaurants good to very good; pool and pool area fair; the casino area is a mix of cool/funk and cheap/fake; and the gaming experience good. Overall value? Very good. I would highly recommed the Aladdin, and am looking forward to my stay.
