No you're thinking of Mississippi , but I see how you could have confused them as Alabama's state motto is ,"Alabama, the next best thing to Mississippi."
Yeah, Cris, this is a sacred travel board for crying out loud. Feel free to discuss meaty subjects such as: would you have enough spine to stay with your spouse if you didn't have brats, or rationalizations for kleptos who visit motels, or where are you right now in case anyone cares, or would you like to be yet another loser depicted on Survivor, or is there a hole in the ice at the north pole. Now those are real travel topics. Get with it!
