Airport Hotel/Parking in Philadelphia?

Greetings! I am looking for a hotel near the Philadelphia Airport for the night of 6/20. The following day, I am flying with my family to Orlando, and am also looking for a place to park my car for 10 days. Does anyone know of any area hotels that would allow me to stay the 1 night and then leave my car there till I get back? If not, are there any off-airport parking garages that anyone can recommend? Thanks!

We stayed at Fairfield Inn the night before we flew out to Florida. Parking was free. We took their shuttle to the airport and left our car in their parking lot for 7 days. Didn't bother to ask -- just did it.

Once we stayed at the Ramada which was close to the airport. They have a pay parking lot, which is secure.

Otherwise we put our car Pacifico valet. <http://pacificocars.com/valet/>

When my husband and I travel we usually fly out of Philly and we stay the night before at a hotel that will keep our car for us at no additional charge for up to 14 days. We have done this at the Holiday Inn, Hilton, Sheraton Four Points and Renaissance. We usually pick the hotel that has the best rate b/c we only spend a few hours there before an early morning flight.

I believe the Hampton and Comfort Inn also offer the same deal.

Enjoy your trip. I fly out on 6/8 and I cannot wait!

Go to www.sunpark.com. We used them Apr 7-12. I think with the coupon from their site it was $8.00 a day. Even when we finally got our bags at 1:15am, they arrived within minutes.

We have also used Sunpark about 5 times now. I have always had good service with them. Never a problem, prompt, and helpful, and reasonably priced. About 5 minutes to airport.

Is anyone familiar with Colonial Parking? They have a coupon on their website for $6/day--appears to be the cheapest I've seen so far.

Just an FYI---I bid through priceline on 5/2 for a 4* and got the Airport Hilton for $47 ($59.90 with taxes and fees). I thought that was a great deal since we needed a hotel room before our early morning flight and now we don't have to pay extra for parking.

We park at Colonial all the time. It's close to the airport and safe. I have waited 10 or 15 minutes for them to pick me up though.

nfahey - how did you pick $47? That sounds like a great price.

To Jed:

I knew I need a room for the night before our 6AM flight out of Philly. I started a few weeks ago around $38 and kept re-bidding every 72 hours on a 3* hotel (sorry original post said 4*, my mistake). I knew the 3* was reported as the Airport Hilton and it included parking. I figured I would shoot for that. I just slowly worked my way up until I hit a price that was accepted.

Plus I saw on betterbidding.com that someone recently got the Hyatt for $52/night in April. I figured I had some time to play with so I started low.

If you have any other question, feel free to email me.

Nancy
