Afternoon tea in Phoenix or Tucson
Are there any places that serve afternoon tea in Phoenix area or Tucson? This would be over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Would love to take my daughter.

In Tucson, definitely, Tohono Chul Park Tea Room. It's on a desert perserve and is known for their afternoon tea. A wonderful place to walk and learn about the desert and to top it off they have great food. I always take friends their who are visiting.

SuzieTrue,
I have been to the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix for a holiday tea a few years back. It is held in the Lobby Lounge and is quite nice. Our waiter even sang us Christmas carols. Depending on the age of your daughter, there is also a Teddy Bear Tea for the little one's at the Ritz. I believe the tea's are held regularly from Tues through Sat. One at noon and one a few hrs. later.
I have also been in the Phoenician Hotel during Christmas time and have seen the set-up for the tea service. It is quite elegant just like the Ritz. You may want to check out the Arizona Biltmore, too.
