advice on rental cars-Cody, WY to drop off in Rapid City, SD?
Looking to rent a mid sized SUV in Cody and keep for 6 days. Any particular rental agency better than others? Any one to avoid?

How are you getting to Cody?

One way rentals can be very expensive.

Use kayak.com = a search engine = to see available rental agencies and to compare costs.

flying in to Cody--departing 6 days later from Rapid City.

My advice is to fly to Billings and rent and return there.
If it's Yellowstone you are going for, go west on I-90 to Livingston then south to Gardiner and Mammoth.
Be sure to see Devil's Tower on the way to see Mt. Rushmore.
