Advice on 24-36 Hour Babymoon within a few hours of Atlanta
Hubby and I are looking to plan a 24-36hour getaway (without the other kiddos) before #3 comes along. We are living in Atlanta. We would not want to drive more than a couple of hours.
No need to sightsee or do any activities besides chedcking into a nice room, fireplace, nice bathtub, great dinner nearby or on property, a nice walk/hike, maybe a massage or spa.
We are relatively new to the area and looking for advice.
Around $300 - $350 limit on the room.
We'll probably try to do this in early or late January - might be weekday or weekend.
Thanks!

Look into Serenbe, just south of Atlanta in Palmetto (about 40 minutes from intown northeast). Very nice B&B that happens to come with a great restaurant on site, The Farmhouse (which emphasizes use of the adjoining farm's produce).

Callaway Gardens is another option, though farther to drive.
