Adirondack Inn Recommendation on Short Notice

Can anyone recommed an inn or bed and breakfast in the Adirondacks that could possibly have availability for next weekend. I am looking for something under $250 a night and preferably waterfront. Thank you!

Try Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. Not sure about price or availability, but it's a terrific place.

Hope this helps...

How fancy?

You might try the Irondequoit Inn on Piseco Lake. They have a very large properyt (hundreds of acres) and are up the hill from the water, but they do have a beach and a really great place to kayak (Fall Stream enters the lake near them). Here is the web site:

If you can do something more "urban" (really, that's a joke) int he town of Speculator is a new inn called Lake Pleasant Inn. They completely gutted a motor lodge about two years ago and made the inn. It is waterfront, but in town. Right next to the little town beach area.

Big Moose Inn:

I checked and it looks like they have availability. I've stayed there and loved it - and their restaurant is EXCELLENT.
