activities in Honolulu week of May 16-23
paging MelissaHI, lcuy, dusty and all the HI locals:
i will be back in Honolulu in the week of May 16-23. some friends will be joining me for this trip although i am going there for business trip-my schedule is wide open on friday, saturday and sunday. we will be staying over the weekend of May 22 and 23 and flying out monday afternoon. are there any events, festivals, shows, etc that are happening in Honolulu that week? i missed the architectural walking tour and spam jam Melissa posted in this site last month since i had to fly our on friday night. i am hoping my friends and i can go to some kind of event in this trip. i checked the website for Honolulu events for May and the only thing i saw that caught my interest was the comedy show ( i forgot the name of the comedian/performer) at the neal-bleisdell center. perhaps there are some other events that you know of that we can go to. we've been to Sharkey's comedy club at SPK-it was ok but the routine probably hasnt changed much since we were just there in january. i will try to reserve for the doris duke mansion tour also.
any suggestions and headsup are appreciated. thanks in advance.

Hmmmm you might check with www.gohawaii.com for activities. I'm looking at it now and nothing jumps out at me at the moment. Here are some ongoing activities.

let me know if you are in town, perhaps we can meet at the Farmer's Market. would be nice to meet you in person. im a regular business traveller to HI, at least once a month for a whole week.
