We are staying in Hilton Head, Folly Beach and Isle of Palms and also going to be in Charleston. We want to do a kayak trip, go parasailing, and jet skis. We are overwhelmed where to do what. Do we need reservations for any or all of these? Are there outfitters we should avoid? Are there any fantastic outfitters? We are looking for some guidance for good places to do these outdoor water activities in any of these places. Please help as much as you can!

Trip Ideas
I don't have any recommendations for parasailing, but I have done several canoe and kayak excursions with Tidal Trails (843-768-5680) and I recommend them highly. They do a lot of tours around Kiawah (south of Folly Beach). Reservations are necessary.
It looks like there are quite a few parasail, jetski and kayak opportunities at both Isle of Palms and Folly Beach. There is also surfing at Folly. Check out Folly Beach's website...heed the caution notes about where and where not to swim and surf.
Hilton Head offers all three. When you arrive, pick up one of the activities guides at any grocery store, hotel or restaurant. You'll find coupons in the book as well as in the daily newspaper, the Island Packet. You will find multiple locations, pick the one nearest where you are staying and that has the best deal. If you are staying at Sea Pines, South Beach Marina has both kayak trips along the shore and back the cree and parasailing on Callibogue Sound.
