Accommodation near the Mashantucket Pequot Museum

Jump to last reply

I need a few days break and have always wanted to visit the American Indian Museum.
I want to do that and otherwise eat well and spend a lot of time near a good indoor pool.
In searching it seems that the MGM Grand at the casino is the most comfortable choice, however I loathe casinos and their vibe.
Does anyone have first hand knowledge of what it is like to stay at this hotel for the purpose I describe? Or a better idea?
Good indoor pool is a must. I am recovering from serious illness and know a pool would be restorative.
Any help would be appreciated.
