A week in Seacrest Beach - looking for recommendations

Jump to last reply

Hi there! We leave this next weekend for Seacrest Beach off 30A in the Florida panhandle. I've been to the area (Seaside, Rosemary) for day trips, but have never spent any real time there. We are young family with 2 boys (1 yr and 4 yr) so we'll be spending most of our time at the beach / pool. But - I have a few questions, and would love any advice!

Restaurant recommendations? Any to avoid? Any that are great? (keep in mind we can't go anywhere too nice with the kiddos)

Is it worth it to take our bikes down there? I wasn't sure how accessible Seaside would be, or other areas that were close. It seems like there are lots of trails around?

Any events / things-to-do in the area beyond the beach? Seaside is pretty family friendly I'm gathering, but any advice for things to do specifically?

Thank you in advance!
Sara
