We will be going to Las Vegas next Monday and are staying at the Bellagio. We would love to do room service one night since it will be our 35th anniversary. Does anyone know of a liquor store on the strip where we can purchase a good bottle of champagne? Has anyone eaten at any of the contemporary restaurants at the Bellagio? We have stayed at Ballys and Paris but never the Bellagio. Thank you

Don't know the answers to your questions, but here's wishing you a glorious anniversay. You will love, love, love Bellagio. Great piano lounge, check it out.
It is hard to find a liquor store on the Strip. The ABC Store in Dessert Passage (Planet Hollywood) sells some kind of booze, but I doubt you will find a "good bottle of champagne" there. If you can't bring a bottle with you in your checked luggage, it might be worth giving them a call 702 733-7182. Happy Anniversary.
I've eaten at Picasso and Cirque, not sure what you mean by "contemporary"? Both were great. Picasso has a great view of the fountains, Cirque does not. Picasso has a bit more of a romantic atmosphere, Cirque had more "power lunch" types in there when I went. The service at Cirque was probably better. Picasso doesn't have much choice, it's typically a set menu, you get chef dinner #1 or chef dinner #2, at least that's the way it was the one night I ate there. Actually, I think for each course you had a choice of 2 things.
Probably a liquor store in the hotel. If not, there's one across the street between Harrah's and Flamingo
The Grand Lux at the Venetian has incredible food and service. Definately anniversary worthy.
The Grand Lux struck me as being quite like The Cheesecake Factory when I ate there a couple years ago. Has it changed?
Happpytrailstoyou, the Grand Lux is quite a bit more upscale than TCF. Beautiful decor, terrific food, and outstanding service. It's been so long since you were there that I think you've forgotten how nice it is.
We ate lunch at Olives at the Bellagio; they had a beautiful view of the fountains. For an anniversary, I'd go to Picasso.
**if it's not too late to answer , there IS a liquor store on the strip..across from Caesar's, to the right of Harrah's Hotel, north of Imperial Palace; and yes, they sell champagne.
In case anyone cares now as I am too late to help jojuice (who I hope had a spectacular anniversary), there is a liquor store straight up Flamingo (away from the freeway) at Audrie and across from Bally's. If a car is available, there is a Target (which sells wine and champagne) and a grocery store (brand forgotten) several blocks farther up.
FYI- Grand Lux & Cheesecake Factory are owned by the same company
Thank you for the help. We bought champagne at LeCave in the Paris hotel. It went beautiful with room service.
We ate at Circo which was fantastic as well as the Petrossian Lounge at Bellagio.
To top it all off we went to see "Jersey Boys" which I can't praise enough.
A wonderful 35th. Thanks to all.
I agree about Jersey Boys! isn't it amazing?!!! glad you enjoyed it all for your 35th.
