A Foreign lady driving with teens to North- Arizona

Jump to last reply

Hi, I am brazilian, and would like to visit nice places here before going back to my country.
I would like to go from Flagstaff to Page, to see Lake Powell, and stay there two nights.
Then, continuing , from Page to Monument Valley, and staying there one night. Again, driving to Chinle, to see Canyon de Chelly, and 1 more night here. Finally, I would drive down to be on the I-40.
My question is if is adviseble to do that in summer time, and if the main roads are too deserted to avoid, since I will be the only adult in the group?
I will have a rented car not 4 wheel drive, a Ford- Taurus, or something similar.
Does anybody can give me advices about this trip?
Thanks. Florence
