75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Attack Events

December 7, 2016 will be the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and other military bases on Oahu.

This will be the last big anniversary for the Pearl Harbor survivors.

This page has a lot of info & links to the daily events commemorating the anniversary:

"I think it was the Japanese."

You are right! But hopefully 75 years has taught us that the Japanese military were only taking orders from above!

I am a Vietnam Veteran and also took orders from above as those from the other side did!

A friend & I are going to Oahu December 1-8 to attend some of the Pearl Harbor events!

We are going to remember those who gave their lives on that date & those who continued their service after the attack on Oahu & Pearl Harbor. And for those who entered WWII after the attack on Pearl Harbor including my father!

OK, OK..so we "took orders from above" and a hell of a lot of people BELIEVED in ALL of those "orders" so please give that a rest since it has no place in remembering those who were far less fortunate than those of us who served and survived all of those "orders."

Is your reply directed to me?

I love & respect every veteran who has ever served!
