7 hr layover in dallas

Hello,
we have a 7 hr lay over in DFW before we fly to Venice. Has anyone used the Club Airport lounge? or the admiral's club? I am trying to decide which one to buy a 1 day pass from.. the Club lounge is half as expensive as the AA Admiral's Club, any thoughts on either?

thanks

Check to make sure that admission covers 'we'.

AA Admirals Club is for 1 adult and up to 3 children for $50 for a one day pass. Second person is $50. Children seem to don't count as persons.

The Club at DFW seems to be cheaper. $35 per person.

Here's the kicker. Admirals Clubs are in AA Terminals A, B, C and D. The Club at DFW is in Terminal D. Find out where you're flying out of to avoid last minute scurrying. All clubs are after security.

Finally, check the opening and closing times to ensure your maximum stay.

Will be laying over 4/15 also in DFW do it a lot plenty to do
outside the clubs we usually head for the Galleria area and
eat shop time flies there costs way less than $100 for the day. AA.com admirals lounge usually has been the best for me but am currently silver elite do not pay. No recent experience with others.

Good luck!

I had an Admirals Club membership for years and use the "clubs" at DFW vey often. There are 4 different Admirals Clubs at DFW (one each in Terminals A, B, C and D.

I also used the "Club Lounge" on one occasion and felt it was not as nice as the Admirals Club but as you already know the cost for a Day Pass there is $35 vs. $50 for the Admirals Club.

One thing you should know, it there are plenty of shops restaurants and bars in Terminal D (it's like a mini-mall) where you can spend time in relative comfort without the cost of a "Club Day Pass".

With a 7 hour layover you have plenty of time to leave the airport and spend time in the DFW area - there are plenty of things to do and places you can visit that are a short 10 to 30 minute taxi ride from the airport - anything you choose will beat sitting at the airport.
