4 Nights in Maui in June or July: South Shore?

Jump to last reply

We've got our Waikiki Marriott stay sorted out. I am certain I will be able to find a reasonable flight from Oahu to Maui so we've decided to visit Maui for 4 nights this time. We want to see the Haleakala Crater and also drive the road to Hana.

The top of the hotel budget is $500.00 a night, I would like to pay less than that. Looking for a beautiful pool, beautiful sea views and beach access, upscale rooms, lovely food, great booze. I don't want to have to drive too far from our hotel for evening meals so would like to be close enough to have access to a variety of restaurants. This isn't too big of an issue as we're only staying 4 nights.

I'm still looking at the suggestions given on my other thread but are there any further suggestions? Should I focus my search on South Shore hotels? Again, many thanks!
