We are hoping to do our 2nd honeymoon in mid June by tracing our route of 30 years ago. We left Seattle and stayed on the Oregon Coast, then drove through the redwoods and ultimately ended up in San Francisco before making the loop back up to the Northwest.
This time we will only go as far as the wine area in Napa and are wondering if anyone has stayed in fun, unique, possibly on the ocean places or could recommend good restaurants along highway 101 or hwy1. We'll probably make it as far as the southern end of the Oregon coast the first night, then into Northern CA for the second, and possibly to Mendocino for the 3rd before heading into Napa. Thoughts? Thanks for your help!! (Finding most places already booked unfortunately...)

Thanks Tom - I'm checking on it!
Have the trip down figured out, thanks to many great posts including one about Mendocino. Wondering if anyone has stayed at a clean, nice place along I-5 heading back to Seattle. Around Grants Pass/Roseburg. Thanks!
