21c Hotel in Louisville

Has anyone stayed at 21c Hotel in Louisville? Any comments, good or bad?

Also, what about the hotel's restaurant, Proof on Main or any other good restaurants?

I live in Louisville....haven't stayed there, but know some people who have and enjoyed it. Look at the reports on www.tripadvisor
We have eaten at Proof on Main and it is excellent. You can get a reservation through www.opentable.com
It's a really crazy place; if you don't stay there at least visit to see the wacky art.

Lots of great restaurants here. For upscale Italian, Primo (on Market St) and Volare on Frankfort Ave. One of our favorite spots is L and N Wine bar and bistro with over 100 wines by the glass. My favorite restaurant in Louisville is Seviche on Bardstown Rd. It is
"nuevo Latino" cuisine...a real delicious and unusual mix of flavors. For a family run/homey feel Italian, Melillo's on Market Street is a favorite. Jack Fry's on Bardstown Road is always delicious. Our new smoking ban goes in effect July 1, all the bars and restaurants will be included, yeah!
We have an active restaurant board which discusses restaurants, events, etc:

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for all the great recommendations! Do you know anything about Lily's on Bardstown Road?

Sure....I've known the chef/owner for years. Great place- food is consistently good- she uses lots of locally grown ingredients and puts a touch of "Southern" in her menu.

My husband and I stayed at 21c in May and really enjoyed it. We were returning from a trip to the Amazon and the high thread count sheets and the great shower seemed incredibly luxurious! There is a cool flat screen tv in the room with an art video on it and there is an ipod so you can take a tour of the hotel/museum art with audio accompanment. Very cool hotel!

We also at breakfast at the resturant and it was delicious!
