We will be visiting Delani National Park for 2 days in July 2010. My thoughts at the moment are to purchase a pass for the shuttle to Wonder Lake for the first day, and maybe do short hike or two on the second day. Any advice on where there are some good short hikes (not too difficult) and which stops we would need to get off at would be appreciated. I have read the responses to "Best Shuttle for Kantishna" with interest.

I suggest you do your homework on Denali Park, www.nps.gov/dena
There are no "trails" in the park. There are a couple outside the park to consider. Savage River, usually has daily ranger guided hiking.
You do know that Wonder Lake has a SIGNIFICANT bug problem when you are going?? Prior to getting to Denali Park, either by Wasilla, or Fairbanks, you will NEED to purchase full strength Deet, and I also suggest bug hats/garb. You WILL need them. Going to Eielson is significantly better, however, in case you want to rethink this.
