10 commandments for our trip to NOLA.

1. We will not make headlines visiting Bourbon Street.
2. We will not ask the locals what they think of Louisiana Purchase.
3. We will ask the tour guide if Natchi Toches was established by the Jews.
4. We will not cut up the King’s Cake in the bakery, looking for Baby Jesus.
5. We will not ask if “The Hurricane” was named after Katrina.
6. We will not ask the locals for directions to Old Orleans.
7. We will not ask if the French Quarter was the first to surrender to the hurricane.
8. We will not look for a water bus on the Canal Street.
9. We will not ask who lives now in Faulkner’s house.
10. When it’s time to leave, we’ll remember to pick up our “Honorary Levees” batches
