Your Favorite Trip

We are celebrating our 25th anniversary in July. We want to take a special trip. We are opne to going anywhere that Delta or Northwest flies. Probably 7-10 days. Not big on museums. Love to experience other cultures and love the beach. Suggestions?

If you want a beach vacation (but not a budget one) fly to St Lucia and stay at the Jalousie for most of the nights and then move up the ridge to Ladera for the last 2-3 nights.

Japan is awesome. Hong Kong is mind-boggling, but in a good way. Hawaii (Big Island) might be the prettiest place I have ever been. Spain is always nice and offers a nice combination of culture, food, scenery, and even the beach at the right time of year.

Hawaii or Mexico are my current favorite beach-y destinations. I like Oahu, Maui, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas to name a few places.

Are you watching the Batchelor? The Jalousie is a resort with a beach BETWEEN the Pitons (those two mountains you see). You can just walk off the beach and snorkel at the base of the Piton.

Ladera is on the ridge between them higher on up. The rooms have only three walls. That means the "fourth wall" is open to the panaromic view of between the Pitons.

Both have private plunge pools.

Incredible.

My favorite relaxing "beach-y" trip is the Big Island renting a condo through vrbo.com making sure it is an OCEANFRONT condo with a beach near it or next to it.

Easy to plan. Lots to do. Or you can do absolutely nothing.

I don't know anything about Delta or Northwest.

Have fun!

Secret Harbour, It's unique place I have visited...120 vacation homes inspired by the world’s most beautiful maritime villages, is the next major development within Grand Cayman’s only sea-to-sea resort community.

oh! my favorite trip was to Turkey, I was there with my family, that was soooo great! We spent 5 incredible days in Ankara and then went to Istambul for 3 days. Totally 9 days became my BEST days ever, hopefully I'll be back. Now I am thinking about creating my website, something like this: http://www.websitetemplates.bz/touri...templates.html
what do you think?

Congratulations on your silver wedding anniversary!

My favourite trip was our safari in Tanzania for our 30th anniversary. You fly there via Amsterdam with KLM which is a partner of Delta. 10 days is a perfect amount of time - safari, a couple of days in Zanzibar maybe, and maybe a stopover day in Amsterdam too.
