Oh, this sounds like a good idea! I look forward to following this board!
Great!
I would love to hear about trips that include learning/volunteer opportunities that we could do with our children. There are many volunteer organizations but many want a longer time frame or fill most of each day with work. Kids are 10 and 12. Why isn't there a cruise that has excursions at each port of various volunteer assignments?
Rathewr than to repost - anyone w/an interest in volcanoes may wan to check out my trip report on Montserrat. It is easy enough to locate. Cuba would be a topic I would love to hear about as well.
sanparis - FYI

Your interesting report is at:

I hadn't read that TR, SAnParis. Thanks! And thank you, Jed.
If you're interested in doing a China trip, you can check out this blog, which I discovered recently:

I think it's a good idea.
Useful topic, there is nice to have educational resources all together, in order to be more easy to choose the best opportunities for your studies. I have also another resource, useful to learn English language through some language learning courses offered in Britain, Malta, Ireland and other countries by a language learning agency http://www.nidoviajesdeidiomas.com/lengua-inglesa/ . It offers also touristic information and other interesting facts about the cities and countries mentioned.
