Travel adapter and router combo

I was looking for a travel adapter for an upcoming trip to Italy and found this travel adapter and router combo: http://www.tuaw.com/2013/10/08/satechi-makes-world-travel-easier-with-smart-travel-router-and-a/. It looks pretty awesome!

It says there's no voltage/frequency conversion, so do you think I'll need to also use a converter if I'm plugging in my phone, laptop, hair dryer, and travel iron? Thanks!
