Hey everyone!

I'm searching for a summer destination for me and my boyfriend and I would really need some advice from you. We want to sunbath a little, but we would also like to go scubadiving, for example, or visit something.

We thought about Mallorca, Sardinia or Sicily, but we don't really know which island would be better to choose and which city/place on that island. Do you have any suggestions?

If you visited some other place/city/island that would be worth visiting, please share it with us! We have enough budget for the islands I mentioned, but not for Dominican Republic, for example.

If you are thinking about European destinations you will get more replies on the Europe board, but is that really a prime destination for scuba diving? The divers I know go to the Caribbean, and I have just been reading a blog about the Maldives.

Sicily is one of my favorite destinations, but for the sights, not the beaches.

Where are you starting from? I'm guessing Europe since you're saying the DR is more expensive than Mallorca for you?

I'm flying from Munich and my budget is 1000-1200 Euro for 4-5 days. Maldives is unfortunately too expensive for me...

We would like a place with beautiful beaches, because we want to sunbath a lil bit since the weather in Germany is mostly cold and rainy. I mentioned scubadiving because we also want to do something else, not just to lay on the beach all day. A boat trip, another water sport, smth interesting to visit or even a beach with clubs I think will also be ok. We are 22 and 24 years old so we'll get bored fast.

I would consider the southwest coast of Turkey or a Greek island. Again, for info on Europe, post on the Europe board.
