Solo female June traveler looking for trip ideas/advice

Hi All,

Hoping for some travel ideas! I am a 23-year-old female American who has just over a month off between graduating from university and starting "real life" with a full-time, demanding desk job.

I have plans to return to one of my favorite cities, Amsterdam, and spend a week in Istanbul with a friend. From Istanbul I will have June 1st through July 1st to travel.

A few of my friends will be in SE Asia in June so I have been considering the area, but I have heard that the weather is really hot and humid during this time?

Things I am looking for in my month of travel
-see a new culture, different from my own (I have seen most of western Europe and I have been to Brazil)
-meet new people! I like to travel alone but I also really enjoy meeting fellow travelers and natives wherever I am
-adventure (I love kayaking, climbing, diving, etc over museums and history although I do enjoy those too)
-I am also interested in spending one of the weeks at a yoga or mediation retreat. I think spending some time with any mindful spiritual practices would send me back home feeling refreshed.

I know there are a lot of amazing world travelers on this site, if anyone has any advice on places to go in June I greatly appreciate it!

Hi,

If you are already in Turkey and interested in yoga retreats, there are some good ones in summer that are also cruises, I havent personally done it but my friend went on one last year with this company http://yogacruise.net/

If you are already in Turkey, I'd consider eastern europe, Budapest, the Baltic states, etc.
