Has anyone ever used Priceline to book a hotel stay in Dallas?
I am looking to "name my own price" and chose a 4 star hotel option in Downtown Dallas. I was wondering if someone has chose this same option before and if so, what hotel it gave you? It doesn't tell you the hotel until after you agree to book it, so I was curious if anyone knew what hotel it would be. I realize there are a few options, but based on the rate I chose, I'm thinking it may be the hotel I am looking for...which is the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX. Thanks for your help or suggestions!

They have posts that show where people have gotten accepts bids.
They also have a list of which star hotels in which areas are won. No guarantees and once your bid is accepted, NO REFUNDS, so be sure.

Also, just because you see a 4 star listed in the regular priceline section, it does not mean it is in the name your own price offering.
Using name your own price on Priceline usually means you are looking for price more than a specific hotel and have some flexibility in outcome. IF you really need or want to be in that hotel, don't count on it - I don't see it on the list.
I second DebitNM's feedback. If you are somewhat new to "Name Your Own Price", please do yourself a favor and do plenty of reading:

Mike...
I have "Name Your Own Price" experience in other cities, and as others have stated, it's done more for the price than anything else. Yes, you can narrow it down to certain locations, but it is difficult to guess the actual hotels because they seem to vary according to availability and season.
