i have heard it's going to be a mess in chicago concerning travel during the nato summit 5/19-21....we are traveling tues. a.m. 5/22 from chicago o/hare...travelling from the city to the airport. am deciding if we should stay at airport hotel mon. night.... any ideas whether dignitaries will be gone by mon. night...or do i need to be concerned about traveling to airport tues. a.m.

You probably should re-post this on the United States board
As a Chicagoan,I think that if you have to be at the airport for an early flight I would stay closer to the airport as they will be tying up the Kennedy expressway and other areas for the bigwigs.
Where are you staying otherwise? The L is expected to run normally, in fact with additional capacity to make up for constraints in bus service. It is very easy to take the Blue line to O'Hare or the Orange line to Midway.
