My favourite travel wallet: Easy to hide and easy to use
Just wanted to show you my favourite travel wallet. I put the loop through my belt and it's hidden under my waistband, yet it's easy to take out.

The only thing I wouldn't like on that is the mesh coin area, but if you just put your coins in your pocket, then it'd be fine.
As a female, I have a favorite wallet that is starting to wear down and I haven't found another like it. It has a wristlet that I can attach to my belt loop, a main compartment big enough to hold my passport, and a coin pocket on the outside of the wallet so I don't have to fumble to get change.

Hi Toedtoes,
Since you fold the wallet before putting into your waistband, your skin never comes in contact with the mesh coin compartment.
Living in Europe, I just have an credit card sized ID, which fits perfectly into this wallet.

My problem with the mesh is that I find it more difficult to get the coins out (it catches on my nails, etc.) and then it starts tearing. My favorite wallet has a really nice full-length outside pocket with a snap - it holds a ton of change and is very easy to get the change you want without anyone seeing what's inside the wallet.

No, I don't. I've been searching for another one like it, but so far nothing is as perfect.
Basically, it has one main compartment (zippered) with a couple credit card slots - I put my passport, paper money, cc's, etc. in there. It will also hold a small cell phone and/or lipstick. Then there is the outside pocket that holds all my change. I really like that because I can reduce the number of times I'm showing off the contents of my wallet.
The other main thing about it is the wristlet. On many wristlets, the strap hooks on the zipper in such a way that if you've hooked it to your belt loop, gravity will pull the zipper open (and all the contents will fall out).
With this bag, the strap is permanently attached to one end of the bag and has a clip to hook it to the zipper pull. When the zipper is closed, the ends of the straps are on the same side of the bag (thereby holding it closed).
Here's a link to one with the right type of strap, but it doesn't have the outside pocket or cc slots:

Hi Annw:
I think you'll like it especially since it's small and so soft and comfortable to wear. No scratching corners.
I wore it the whole time I was in Italy last year and am planning to take it with me to Barcelona.
Good luck!

Don't be like my hubby, who forgot about it when he removed his belt for the airport security tray, and the wallet slid off onto the floor unnoticed by him. Someone else pointed it out to him - after that, we moved to the 'leg safe' but you don't use those as wallets really.
