Looking for student discount on hotels/travel

Does anyone know if there are any hotels that give a student discount rate?

Never heard of one. Students are more likely to stay at hostels, anyway. Or couchsurf. You could try asking STA - www.statravel.com

Have you ever been to studentrate.com? They have discounts like 20% off Wyndham Hotels, discount with CheapOstay and STA, and other travel and non-travel discounts for students.

Some but not all hostels give a discount to ISIC cardholders.

Hotels are expensive! Some of these deals look good though. I checked out studentrate.com and studentcity.com and they both look legit.

Post on Lonely planet's Thorn Tree forum. It caters to a younger crowd on a budget.
