Enjoy some Gold Coast or Cairns Ozzie beaches
for best Xmas warm beach experience and very friendly folks.
journeywoman.com good solo female travel tips for u...
Hi thanks for the note, where Gold Coast or Cairns Ozzie beaches are located?
Many years ago I met a Canadian backpacking young couple who were in Australia over christmas and asked us if they knew a nice hotel for them to have their lunch at. They were really nice and as my brother had moved to Canada we thought we'd return the hospitality and ask them over to our little christmas lunch. They arrived and bought a lovely (non cheap) bottle of wine with them and we laughed, ate and told stories all afternoon. It was a fabulous day. The guests even tried vegemite! In the end we found out our backpackers were not quite in the poor house... one of their father's owned a few very well known fast food restaurants!
