ideas of a hotel with a "REAL HAWIAN FEELING" in hawii ?

i am goiing to hawii for my 15th birthday (:
(just me & my mom)
i am soo excited , but i dont really know were to go or which hotel to stay at.
all i need is a room with two beds & a nice ocean view.
The thing i dont want, is to pay allot of money for a hotel that feels as if im still here in californi
& what i DO want is a hotel with that hawian feeling.
if you have any ideas as to were i should stay at, please let me know.
