I am hoping someone can recommend a hotel in Milan, Itlay. I would like a safe place near the train station that can be reached quickly. The train to Paris leaves at 6:40am and I am not how much time I need for check-in.

I stayed in the Mini Hotel Aosta, booked through venere.com. You couldn't be closer to the train station, but it's pretty basic.
Hotel Michelangelo - 30 yards - upmarket and very comfortable. Hotel Auriga - 100 yards. Go to www.venere.com for bookings.
roseanne, You should post this question over on the Europe forum. Lots more people read that one.
Thanks, I'll try that.
