You haven't told us much except you are traveling in December- possibly around Christmas/New years and you think Paris (a city) and Italy (a country) might be cold which, by the way, is a good possibility.
What type of honeymoon experience are you seeking? What do you like to do and see? How cool or warm do you want it to be where you go? How long are you planning to be away? Do you have a budget for hotel, food, activities, etc.?
There are literally hundreds of countries and thousands of cities you can visit. You have to narrow down your perimeters before anyone here can give you advice/suggestions.

You need to sit and dream or think of exactly where in the world you want to go.
So, get an atlas and study it. Then think of the climate you want to experience, the cost and what exactly do you want to do.
Do you want to just walk in a large city such as Paris or do you want to enjoy some beaches or look at the mountains of Switzerland and see the snow covered peaks.
Or would you rather go to Australia where it will be warmer or do you want to go to a country that is not too expensive?
Thus, there are thousands of options and you need to narrow them down and then plan. People on Fodors can help you when you have specific ideas.
Good luck.

Think about spending your honeymoon in the south of France, possibly staying at one of the grand hotels on St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, near Nice. But Nice would be good too, and for a honeymoon Cannes would be lovely.
