I'm in the US and I am looking for a solid multiday pack. I am 5'6 and about 130 pounds so I need something that I can carry easily on my back for treking and such. I am traveling through asia for two months this summer. I will be doing everything from hiking through Cambodia to climbing everest basecamp in Tibet. Does anyone know any great companies. Also I am looking for a day pack for the longer treks that I can take that will hold a sleeping bag, mat and all that seperatly from my multi day pack.

REI is great. You really need to go to the store (REI or another that truly knows the gear) and get fitted. Packs are like boots, there is no universal fit and you need to try them on and walk around with them a bit. At REI they know this and will stuff the pack with weighted "pillow" so you can get a real feel for it.
