Help with itinerary in Italy with kids 23 days!

Jump to last reply

Family of 4 (2 adults who have been to Italy before and 2 kids (age 6 and 7) their first time). We are trying to plan our itinerary and wanted some guidance and recommendations. We are renting a car once we leave our first destination Rome. We are looking for a relaxed and scenic road trip adventure. And a route that takes us to family fun locales. Anything with castles, and rustic streets are a plus. Our first stop Rome will be for 2 nights then renting a car and wanting to visit: Tuscan region, Pisa, Venice, and then travel along Adriatic coast (total of 10 days) and to end up in Abruzzo for 7 days, and then visit Sorrento etc. Help needed with where to stop and visit on the initial stretch of our trip, incorporating kid fun places to visit, my kids are 6 and 7. Hotel recommendations are welcome!! Thank you.
