Global Volunteers

Has anyone traveled with this program?

Friends of mine went to VietNam with them to teach English and liked the group and their experience.

My 18 year old son spent 9 weeks in China (Xian) with Global Volunteers in the fall of 2005. He deferred college in order to teach english there and then returned to visit his students last summer before they started summer break. He was by far the youngest volunteer since it was in the fall, but he didn't mind, it's an experience he cherishes today. He continues to stay in contact with a few of the student.

China is great form Volunteering. Save the Panda Program, Save the Great Wall prog sounds like a fantasy!! I've read in a blog on China Volunteering Programs: check out----
