I could suggest going to Hawaii would be wonderful. But I have no idea if that's the kind of thing you're looking for.

There are a lot of good countries with Europe and most of the places there are clean. It would probably be safe to bring a child there. Although a tour in Asia would also be nice!

More specifics would include what type of activities your family enjoys........are you adventurous, like zip-lining, white water rafting, hiking? Do you prefer museums or theatre productions? Do you have in mind beaches, mountains, desert? Big metropolitan area, or small town? Will you be renting a car or will you rely on public transportation? Do you want a large hotel chain, quaint B&B, or rustic cabin?
