Has anyone ever heard or gone on a trip to Italy sponsored by an online newsletter called "Dream of Italy?" They are offering an Umbrian trip which I would like to go on, but never heard of them and don't know how to research who they are. Is there a Better Business Bureau for online companies?

I just did a search and they do have a website: www.dreamofitaly.com
You can subscribe to their newsletter for $79 via the internet or $99 to have it mailed to you. Kathy McCabe is the editor and publisher. Looks to be a legitimate company. Here is a page from the newletter where you can email the company: http://www.dreamofitaly.com/public/department6.cfm There is a Washington, DC address so you could check the BBB for DC area.
If you really want to go on an Umbrian trip there are many travel companies out there that you could check out. I am sure if you email the company you will also get a response from them.
Good luck.
Mary
Thank you - I knew they had a website, but I was not sure how to know for sure if they are legitimate. Maybe I'll check the BBB in DC as you suggested. Thanks for the information.
I have spoken by email with the owner Kathy, she is very knowledgeble and has started expanding her services.
I am sure she will give you refererences.
Her archives of her newsletter are great overviews of all parts of Italia.
