DO NOT USE, otel.com

Jump to last reply

we feel we have been conned by this company,
we booked the tropicanna sharm in dec 2012 for march 2013
when we arrived at the hotel, we were told there was no booking from otel.com in our name.
we phoned otel.com, ( in turkey ) this cost us over £40 in phone calls,
we were told we had been relocated to another hotel, due to over booking.
they hung up on us 3 times, and would not talk to the the tropicanna ,the hotel told us they had never been over booked and offered us a room if we payed again.
we had no choice other then to accept the change.
we had choosen the tropicanna for 2 main reseasons,
it had a jetty to snorkle over the reefs, and all inclusive bar untill 1 a.m.
the hotel we were relocated to had no way of crossing the reef to snorkle, as it had no jetty, which ment walking 200 yards across sharp dead coral to be able to snorkle,
we estimate we spent a extra £160 as we had to pay for drinks as the new hotels, as there all inc finished 2 hours earlier then the one we had booked.
we had picked sharm mainly for the snorkling.
so our holiday was ruined by this company.
