Changes in Travel Insurance: deductible

FYI. I just discovered that some of the companies, notably TravelGuard now have a deductible ($250) in their travel car insurance. This is more important than it might seem as the car companies often try to hit you up for little things like scratches and dings. I telephoned Allianz to check and they do not have a deductible and the price is the same. $9 a day with Allianz vs $25.99 a day with the car companies (budget and dollar are the only ones I checked -- out of IAD)

Hope that helps someone!
