Beware of Holiday Autos Rental Agency

I booked with Holiday Auto for a car in Italy mainly because its advertised price for a second driver was very reasonable. When we used their vender, Locauto, they charged us double that cost and would not budge of we could not rent the car. After we arrived home could not get any satisfaction from Holiday Auto. Could not even reach them by phone after trying 10 times over three days. Finally reached UK division and she didn't even have our reservation in system anymore. They wipe their hands of everything that happens once you make your reservation with them. WILL NEVER USE HOLIDAY AUTO again!
Also Locauto was rude and abrupt. Will never use them either!

Even if they were great would you be going back to Italy to use them again????

It doesn't matter if they'd be going back again or not. If the experience was really awful, it will save someone else the headache.

Though I would like more information. Did you actually get to rent a car from them afterall, or did you end up using someone else?

I must confess to judging Holiday Auto to soon. After I finally reached them by email, they immediately took steps to refund my excess second passenger driver fee.

They actually are stand up company.

Fred249,

Didn't you print out the rental agreement that indicated what you would have to pay?
