Hi everyone, I know this is a silly question. But I am traveling to Europe and will spend several hours every few days traveling on trains. I need a true battery operated small flat iron or curling iron for these train rides. I already have a European flat iron for hotels, just need something small, battery operated and portable. I know there are butane filled travel items such as these, but they are not allowed on most flights so I wont be able to get it to Europe.. does any one know of a battery operated device/? I have looked on ebay and amazon and cant find anything!
Thank you in advance!
Diana

batteries won't work for that sort of heat generation. (If they did -- the batteries would have to be very large and heavy)
Sometimes being 'low maintenance' is just better . . .
Are you planning to do your hair on the train? I can see needing the curling iron/flat iron if you have an overnight train, but then if you have a sleeping compartment, there will be power outlets, right? It sounds like you are planning to be on the train during the day though.
